To be completely honest, I’m something of a latecomer when it comes to podcasts. But I’m making up for lost time now! I spend a lot of time in the car, so podcasts are a great way to redeem some of the long stretches on the road. There’s engaging content on all kinds of topics from food to poliltics, from business development to lavishly produced serial dramas. On my podcast app, I’ve subscribed to a number of shows related to advertising and communications. Here are a few you might want to check out: Exponent – this is actually is a podcast about tech and society hosted by Ben Thompson and James Allworth. But many of the shows connect to issues relating to the Internet, social media and communications. Expert Marketing Matters – Chris Butler and his team from Newfangled discuss generating ideal new business opportunities. The company specialized in digital marketing. Akimbo – Seth Godin has been coloring outside the lines with his unique insights through best-selling books and sold-out conference for years. In his podcast, he explores culture, communications and much more. Those just a few of my favorites. What’s on your podcast playlist?

As of January 2020, there were 1,295,973,827 websites in the world. But that wasn’t enough was it?

Despite the fact that 380 new websites are launched every minute, people still griped. Apparently, my online absence raised suspicions. “Where’s YOUR website hot shot?” they asked. “How can an advertising guy not be on the Internet? It’s unseemly!”

Fine.

Despite the Coronavirus, in the midst of an economic meltdown, on top of enormous projects for important clients … I have created a new website for my business.

I worked with the super talented and heavily bearded Jeremy Moses to build VeryConvincing.com. He developed the simple, clean and slightly sophisticated design I was looking for.
